The Peggy Guggenheim Collection will close to the public for four weeks from January 10, 2005 in order to carry out important maintenance works on its buildings and plant. This involves the roof terrace, the Grand Canal windows, the terrazzo paving, the bathrooms, the barchessa windows, lighting and climate control, and much else besides. Please bear with us. These improvements have been funded in part by BANCA DEL GOTTARDO, with the aid of a grant from the REGIONE VENETO.

The museum reopens February 5, and on February 18, the exhibition Constantin Brancusi. The Work in White, presenting Brancusi’s photographic art, opens in the temporary exhibition galleries.
